I consider myself as visual artist who loves to explore different materials and methods depending on the message I want to express within my work. I think visual is like a window that enables you to reach the core of a specific idea. My personal style is made out of a combination of various printmaking techniques such as: Mono print, screen print, etching; that are often developed into movie image with digital editing. My visual world is populated by minimal and bold faces, usually depicted with big eyes. My warm colour palette and eye pattern find their roots in my Sicilian origins. Indeed Sicilian motifs and paintings are characterized by simple lines and pure shapes filled with warm colours such as sea blue , yellow, red. So eyes is repetitive elements in my creations as the eye is also a very common religion and good luck symbol in the Mediterranean region.
